Advanced Hair Transplant is an outpatient procedure performed under local anesthesia. Our doctors plan the surgery in advance, by carefully considering the stage of your hair loss, your goals and expectations. There is a step-by-step process for Hair Transplants, with the biggest difference being the choice of the donor hair harvesting technique. At Clinic Dermatech, we offer both FUT Strip Harvest and Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) procedures. Our doctors suggest and perform the technique that is best suited to you, based on factors such as your age and the hair density in the donor area.

FUT Strip Harvesting in which a strip of tissue is removed from your donor zone and then dissected into follicular units of 1 – 4 hair. Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) in which grafts are harvested individually from the donor area and then trimmed under the microscope.
