About Dr Ruchi Gupta
Lt.(Dr.) Ruchi Gupta has done her graduation in Economics(H) from Hindu College (NAAC A++ ranking college of Delhi University, India); M.A. and M.Phil in Economics from DELHI SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS (One of the top most Post Graduate institutes in the WORLD in the field of Economics); a Doctorate from Delhi University and has cleared NET twice.
She has a wide work experience, including a teaching experience of over 27+ years at top notch colleges of Delhi University at the Honors Graduate level; professional training at IIM Bangalore, and JNU; paper presentations at a number of National and International Conferences including at Denmark and Defense Academy, Gwalior.
She has an enormous penchant for all round learning, which enabled her to clear every National Level entrance exam (MA, M.Phil, MBA entrance of FMS, Ph.D., NET) in the first attempt, at times even becoming a top 10 rank holder nationally. She also has a rare distinction of being a Lieutenant in the Indian Army, again topping the Defense Academy with an A grade, winning a Gold Medal and several certificates of excellence. Once as a child, she was told by her father that “No positive effort ever made ever goes waste; it always repays you someday in some form.” Those words forever became the guiding spirit of her life.
Being herself the daughter of a University Professor and coming from a family of educationists, teaching runs in her blood. Dr. Ruchi picked up the student friendly and ‘learning by experimenting and observing’ methods of teaching and learning during her stay and schooling abroad (Canada and Zambia) during her childhood. It is this competence based method that the tries to incorporate in her own unique teaching style of combining topics across disciplines and with issues of daily importance.
Ruchi Gupta is also an avid blogger and writes frequently on issues close to heart, ranging from the death of street pups to the Russia-Ukraine war. At a personal level she is a believer in follower of India’s ancient Ayurveda system of medication.
About Amit Gupta Chairman & Managing Director
Amit Gupta is a B.Tech (Electronics, Gold Medallist) from the prestigious Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi. He started his professional career in IT industry with leading companies by working in prominent leadership roles for 22 years in the corporate sector in both India and abroad. His last corporate role was as the Head (Director) of Technology Infrastructure at Fidelity Investments, a US based world’s largest mutual fund company, where he was managing Technology businesses across the US, UK, and Asia including India. During his corporate years, Amit Gupta was many times chosen among the TOP 100 CIO Executives of the Year.
However, one incident changed his entire outlook towards life forever, when he was among the hostages held captive at the Oberoi Hotel in the Mumbai 26/11 attack for chilling 48 hours, being the last man to be rescued from the hotel. Thereafter, he quit his high-profile corporate job to start his own business venture of processing and exporting honey to the US and the Middle East, making his venture one of the largest B2B exporter of honey in India, within a short span of seven years.
Amit Gupta is a firm believer in the Gurukul style of teaching and in the holistic development of students through education. He strongly holds that teaching is a highly specialized field and only the academicians with the best of qualification, training and experience should be entrusted with the responsibility of training kids, especially in their formative years. It is with this perspective and vision that, Amit Gupta has now ventured into the field of education.
